There are many varieties of memes. Their origins are different - they can be celebrities, politicians, book characters, ordinary people etc. One example of a meme whose main character is a book character is Winnie the Pooh by Alan Alexander Milne.
Based on the book about Winnie the Pooh, a series of cartoons were made that had a huge impact on the formation of the psyche of more than one generation. After some time, the book was translated into Russian, translated by Boris Zakhoder. Boris himself insisted that his work was just a retelling. If you compare the texts of Boris and Alan, you can see that much remains the same, except for the names of the songs: noisemakers, shouters, screaming and so on. They were invented by B. Zakhoder.
Boris's translation is considered canonical and is used in all screen adaptations and localizations. In 2005, the Arbitration Court recognized Boris Zakhoder's translation as his property and now in all foreign adaptations of the Winnie the Pooh cartoon, the characters appear under other names. For example, in this adaptation, Piglet was renamed to Hryunya. Undoubtedly, there was a lot of excitement and indignation about this, but the fact remains a fact.
Based on Boris Zakhoder's translation, an animated film was made, where for the sake of comedy, the speech of Evgeny Leonov was accelerated. Leonovsky Winnie-the-Pooh is considered the first rapper of the 60s when there was no such rap as such. This is because the character was distinguished by select recitatives.
Along with other characters of Soviet cartoons, Winnie the Pooh is a source of anecdotes, winged and characteristic phrases, memes. There are many examples. Using this, young people from St. Petersburg created another voice-over where Winnie-the-Pooh talks like a mentally handicapped pedophile, and the name Piglet was replaced with Hryunika.
