Today we will talk about the greatest and first man who went to space. He is Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin. Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin (March 9, 1934, Klushino, Gzhatsky (now Gagarinsky) district, Western Region, USSR - March 27, 1968, near the city of Kirzhach, Vladimir Oblast, USSR) was a Soviet cosmonaut, hero of the Soviet Union, recipient of several state honors, and honorary citizen of many Russian and foreign cities. Numerous streets, museums, and other places have also been named after him. He made his first space flight on April 12, 1961. He stayed there for about 108 minutes and then successfully landed in the Saratov region. After his legendary achievement, April 12 was declared the Day of Cosmonautics. He was the first person to open the door to the universe for us and show everything in detail. Thanks to Gagarin, science began to progress rapidly, as we previously had only a limited understanding of certain parts of the universe, but soon many changes in astronomy were made. In addition, many theories and hypotheses emerged as to how the Earth and the universe came into existence. Most scientists believe that the universe was born out of the Big Bang theory, although this theory has not yet been proven, there are still some connections about the universe that state that everything started from the smallest point, then the point exploded and formed stars and different planets, the sun was once a regular giant star but it became fiery due to the explosion.
Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin died on March 27, 1968 near the village of Novosyolovo in the Kirzhachsky district of the Vladimir region. There are rumors that Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin died during a training exercise, as the vehicle malfunctioned and crashed, causing his death. After Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin's death, April 12 was declared a worldwide day of mourning, and some cities erected monuments and lit candles to honor this great man. One more thing I would like to say is that for me Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin was a great person, whom I tried to emulate, and if it were not for this trial, I think he could have lived longer.
