Recently, the most popular and widespread information on the Internet has been classified as "Internet memes." Information that falls into this category can be of any format and content and is transmitted from user to user like a virus through mimicry. Its popularity depends on how appealing it is to the majority of users on the worldwide web. Many memes arise spontaneously, but there are also those that are intentionally created. Internet memes that arise spontaneously are usually more popular and sought-after. One example of a spontaneously occurring meme is demotivators. This meme emerged as a parody of various posters and motivational posts that called for something and agitated people in workplaces, schools, and universities. Such posters were uninteresting and sometimes dull but oriented toward creating positive emotions. Parody posters aroused completely opposite feelings in people, such as melancholy. The posters with parodies were created in the same format as motivational posters. Any poster consists of a black border or frame inside which there is an image that illustrates the poster. Under the image in fairly large letters is a slogan. Under the slogan, there is a smaller font written explanation of it, revealing the main idea. On the Internet, any demotivator can be recognized by the above features. However, it should be noted that most "demotivators" do not meet this definition and standard. Often, humorous images are used in them, and there may be no explanatory slogan. Today's "demotivators" have more humorous coloring than parodic ones with elements of sorrow. They also appear together with key statements and brief comments that reveal the essence of the humorous idea. Currently, six types of demotivators are distinguished, including classic, humorous, social advertising, representing someone, philosophical and esoteric ones. Demotivators mostly occur in various communities, blogs, and communications between users. Now any network user can become the author of their own demotivator. To do this, the user just needs to enter "create a demotivator" in the search engine. In these applications, users can use built-in images and upload their own.
